Even with really good quality MDMA after 4 doses (approx 600mg) your brain is pretty much depleted of serotonin and the MDMA that is taken is used as methamphetamine instead.

How do you figure its being used as a methamphetamine?
Whether it's mdma or methemphetamines he's injesting they're both amphetamines, stimulants, and fucking up his body royally.
Methemphetamines can give a euphoric mdma like high anyway.
Just because he doesn't want to have a cuddlepuddle or ligtshow doesn't mean shit. He's still getting high as a mother fucker.

After the serotonin is depleted from your body taking more MDMA isn't going to get your the euphoric high as you described and is being used as purely a stimulant.

Whatever he was taking must have been pure garbage. Even if the pills were cut with meth as a buffer taking 25 of them in a day would easily cause him to OD.

And if for some reason he didn't OD his system would be so tweaked out from the stimulants that the psychosis from sleep deprivation would have made him go insane.

A person wouldn't start peaking again but the amphetamines (whether mdma or meth) would still work on other parts of the CNS not directly seratonin related, inducing/mainting a high state.

People you and I probably both know have consumed that amount of pills and other drugs in a single day and more throughout a weekend. Then again they look and act as if they've been completely punchfucked by the end of it.

I don't doubt the guy was up to eating 25 pills a day. I doubt he was able to maintain that for anything longer then 3-4 days.
