Lt. Light aka DARK FADER is a DJ of mystery.
Hiding in the shadows of Vancouver's Electronic Music scene. Recognized but
unknown to most. He's journeyed deep into the rhythmic tones of many a
producer. His record collection is diverse; tribal, progressive, deep,
trancey, are a few words to describe his style of House, Breaks, Techno and
Ambience. A DJ for 5 years Chris has played numerous clubs and parties
throughout western Canada. Discovered by Phoenix Oliva in 2002 Chris was
asked to join the Soldiers of the Underground, a collective of conscious
artists dedicated to musical expression using all mediums. As with most DJ's
time eventually led him to the studio and for the last two years Chris has
been learning about track composition. Collaborating with his long-time
friend Aiden Bennet, a studio technician that has worked on the Juno award
winning TV show "Cold Squad". Their first track "To Be" along with Chris's
track "Savier" was featured on the Soldiers of the Underground compilation
CD "Passion" which was released in 2004. Lt.Light has found his true path.
With endless knowledge to be learned, Chris is looking to the future with an
open mind and an open heart. Embracing the moments as they arrive, he
remains focused and dedicated to the music he loves.

Thanks alot Soma for this oppertunity. I've been on the down-low lately so it's nice to get a mix out there. I hope everyone enjoys it. It's definately going to be a couple hours of great music.

I have a couple records I got from Otis with 'Dark Fader' written on their labels... kind of annoying having classic tunes defaced like that, but whatever, they still play, LoL

As with most artists there is a reason that I "tag" all my old tracks. Whenever I trade in a track I'm letting go of alot of memories. I try to be very selective with what I buy so it's hard. I tag it so people know that this record has a history. I also believe that there is a part of me in every record that I use. So I guess you have a piece of my life. I'm glad you enjoy it. What track is it by the way?
