The 'Fright Fest' that they do down in Enchanted Village just south of Seattle puts the local one to shame.

Way scarier and they open the entire park.... the TIMBERHAWK baby!!!!

I'm doing a road trip down there for it and it's the same cost as the local one really.... just gotta do the gas money there is all.

Anyone???

What is this anyway? My boy and I will be up there this weekend and would like to go, but what the heck is it? A carnival of some sort? Are the rides decent?

Enchanted Village all decorated out is SUPER cool! Been there a few times ( I live in Seattle) and it's good fun! They have the rides going (which are pretty decent in my eyes since Six Flags had a hand in the remodeling of the park) and it's just FUN!

Whoever makes the trek down hit me up! I can be your own personal tour guide ;)

only people with these tickets can go so there's
like 1/8th of the people so wayyyy less lineups =D

Update: I went to fright night last night.
It was great, hardly any lineups. the longest lineup
I waited in was 10 minutes, for the wooden rollercoaster.
there's limited amount of tickets so not many people are there
so then. no lineups. =]

I went last night too!
kinda choked they took out the trippy tunnel you walk through in one of the houses. they had a house with a ride going through it..but the line up was wayy to long and apparently it sucked. wooden coaster at night + smoke machines + back seats = amazing

we have a japanese student coming to stay with us and she's super excited 'cause they don't celebrate halloween out there. so we bought her a halloween costume and we're taking her to this and to the stanley park halloween train. she's only 15 so i think its gonna be a totally rad experience for her.

I went on Saturday and forgot how sketchy that wooden rollercoaster feels! Felt like I was going to fly right out of my seat on just about every dip.

I dug the rest of the night as well, decent haunted houses and the hellevator was only $5 to hit up. Also rode that giant spinning propeller like thing that whips you and a friend around at breakneck speeds (it was $11 to do it but well worth it in my opinion).
