What type of Norton? If it's just the anti-virus and System Works it probably won't block it.


EDIT: They do make $$. Don't know if it's per click on the ad or just for hosting it.

anyone know of a blocking method that doesnt require installing norton products on my system... i just got the adblock plugin for FF, but it doesnt seem to retain the blockage.. keeps coming back.. hrm havent looked at the settings much tho..

ZoneAlarm or Spy Sweeper might do it. Spy Sweeper isn't free but just torrent it.

ZA is one of the best firewalls out there. Also yeah Spy Sweeper can be hurting on your system resources. But you asked for something to block it.

Check the settings on http://adblock.mozdev.org/

Right click the little Adblock thing at the bottom of the browser... go to Preferences... and add all the *adblablabla* crap thta's on the above link and it should work.

Does for me anyways.

Oh and THANK YOU ERIK for telling me of this wonderous add-on... I really need to spend more time lookin into firefox addons.

people pay money to this site to advertise their shows...not to 'keep it open'.....Even though indirectly they do as a result of advertising costs.
